About Us

It all started in 2018 when Pat declared he was going to start growing mushrooms. "Sure thing, babe", was my only response. Soon, we had mushrooms growing out of every nook and cranny of our home. We started very small, cultivating mushrooms out of a shed we built in our back yard. We would grow a couple of pounds and give them to family and friends, then we began producing more.  Our weekends consisted of farmer's markets and walking around forest preserves, identifying mushrooms. We couldn't learn enough about the fascinating world of fungi that was all around us and had previously gone unnoticed. The more we learned about mushrooms, the more we realized they were so much more than a tasty snack. Mushrooms are medicine! They have the power to heal! It was this realization that led us on our mission to begin producing the most potent medicinal mushroom extracts on the market.
